On this project we did a complete new floor build up. 1200 gauge damp proof membrane, 120mm C35 concrete, 125mm PIR insulation, 500 gauge visqueen, underfloor heating then a 60mm Thermio liquid Screed. 150m2 install in Chorley this week. Apex supplied and installed 500 gauge visqueen and perimeter edge foam all taped and sealed for liquid Screed. Underfloor heating was then laid throughout the property all in accordance to run with there ground source heat pump. Nice small liquid Screed job done just before Christmas.
This customer only had 45/50mm coverage to play with so we went for a flowing liquid Screed A. We also added a faster drying agent into it giving it an overall faster curing time.
